I finally finished the new cage!! Here's a photo:

The cage is 6 feet wide, 4 feet tall, and 2 feet wide with 2 massive doors for easy access and cleaning. The cage needs another support leg (hence the step-stool under the front), but that will be taken care of soon. This is also a decent shot of our glider room. They have a 9x12 foot room all to themselves with vinyl flooring and fiberglass paneled walls (tub surround-type material). The cage is pretty sparse right now, I'm working on a super sized cage set for it. I'm also planning on caging in the fan so it's not accessible and hanging some vines toys and playthings from the walls.
My babies are so spoiled!

WOW that looks amazing....not to sound weird, but what will catch their pee/poop? also, what type of wiring/mesh are you using? i see the pvc pipe, but is there directions on how to put something like this together?

Nothing catches the pee and poo, that's the beauty of it. All I have to do is sweep and swiffer in the morning and I don't have to clean poo trays! Plus, I don't have to worry about them reaching into the tray to retrieve food they dropped that is covered in poo. The mesh is plastic hardware mesh from home depot. I found a few tutorials online and modified them to what I wanted, a true flight cage they could really glide in.
Raes is doing really well. He's still pretty angry with me, but I'll win him back once the e jacket finally comes off for good. I don't think it helps our relationship that I keep letting him out of it for an hour, then putting him back in. Poor guy!

That cage is amazing! I love the whole room and idea you have, wish I could do the same or similar arrangement. Looking forward to seeing it fully furnished.

I'm glad Raes is getting better! I hope the boys go as smoothly as Sheldon did. I was able to put him back in with Penny the same night. He's not acting as much like a "boy" as he did and in a way I kind of miss that... Weird, I know.
