So far white tip seems to still be one of those things that just "pops up." It CAN run in family lines, but it's not consistent.
Mosaic and WF are dominant, you only need one parent to pass on the trait, and both can occur in the presence of recessive colors (i.e. you can have a WF platinum, or a cemeino mosaic if both parents also carried the recessive trait).
Platinum, leu, albino, and cremeino are recessive, they need both parents to be carriers of the gene to pass it on.
Lion, cinnamon, and black beauty are all really color variations of gray. Cinnamon and lion are two that you have to be careful to make sure they do not originate from a poor diet and living conditions. There are a great deal of less informed and less scrupulous breeders out there who sell "cinnamons" who are simply stained grays. Black beauty can occur out of any pairing that may produce gray, although it can also be selectively bred for to a degree.
