My sugar glider's name is Sugar.It bites it's cages wire so, any way to stop it?My mom is scared he will get toxic. ( I have to admit not finding a vet )And, we can't find any toys around our area. Where can we find some? Can we make DIY toys???

You can get lots of safe toys at your local dollar tree and I use the plastic Tupperware as toy boxes and fill them with army men, ducks, links, straws, slinky, and bottle caps....

If he's a chewer, offering him some better options to chew on in addition to the toys can help quite a bit. Bark stripping is a natural instinct so you can put some natural wood bird perches or some eucalyptus sticks in his cage too.

just make sure the perches are not pine.

Get some rubber ducks and straws! They are both the new fav in this house. I have one extreme chewer myself.

My little Kami is a nibbler. She tests out everything in the cage. I go to the dollar store at least once a week and pick up things that I can turn into toys for them. Wiffle balls with straws or fleece tucked in it. Plastic organizer boxes that I fill with pompoms. Just use your imagination.
