A cute 3-month-old male glider was surrendered this week at LGRS. His cage mate was apparently found by the family dog outside of its cage. We are uncertain whether the dog killed it or if it died of dehydration or malnourishment. Parents bought the pair at a flea market in the Houston area and as is the case so many times, they had no idea how to care for the animals when they got them home.
Kaaboo will be getting neutered at Texoma Animal Hospital shortly and then we will attempt to pair him with another single. If you have a single glider and are within driving distance of Van Alstyne, TX give Gail a call on 903-482-6026 to discuss introductions.
