What is the difference if any besides brand between the Wombaroo High Protein Supplement and the ZOOPro high protein Supplement?

ZooPro is very new on the market. (less than a year) You would need to get the information on it from Exotic Nutrition. There may several differences but without a full listing of ingredients and sources for the vitamins contained in the ZooPro it would be hard to identify.


Many folks have expressed concern about feeding Menadione which is a synthetic form of vitamin K. ALL pet foods made in the US will contain Menadione. It is sometimes called vitamin K3. It has been prohibited in foods for human consumption since 1969 by the FDA. Currently the ONLY approved supplement of Vitamin K in pet foods manufactured in the US is the supplement Menadione Sodium Bisulfite Complex.


Wombaroo High Protein Supplement is manufactured in Australia and has been used for many years to feed Sugar Gliders and other similar species. One thing that Wombaroo High Protein Supplement does use that products made in the US cannot is a human grade vitamin K supplement. Menadione is not used in the Australian product Wombaroo High Protein Supplement due to its prohibition in pet foods under their standards.
