I clip my gliders nails once a week.

If i don't they start sticking to things. I am very careful and i watch for the quick and i have been clipping animal nails for years so i know what to watch out for.

But overall this is not the most fun experience for any of us.

Sometimes they struggle. And other times it's not as bad. i don't want this to come between us and hurt the bonding process. i have 5 gliders two of them are older (about a year almost) and the others are younger (about 4 months)

I don't think so...just bribe them with their favorite treats. Mine love meal worms and cheese flavored or vanilla yogurt chips.

If one starts to get too upset, I just back off and try again another day.

My babes will ignore treats when nails are clipped even their favorite ones.

I just don't want them to dislike my presence because of nail clipping. I'll take your advice and be patient if they are acting more upset than usual

This is actually a great question. I definitely don't clip mine anywhere near once a week, perhaps you aren't clipping very much. But my guy is good for like a month before i start to worry about him. He crabs like all hell though and I definitely feel like he hates my guts for the next day or 2…
