i recently noticed a brown stain all around my Kanga's pouch while she was climbing on her cage
i immediately went in for a closer look..
the stain seems to be a discharge of some sort
and i also noticed her and her cage mate licking it
her pouch does not look red or inflamed from what i can see :(
i called my vet and learned he is not in the office until monday
i am overwhelmed with anxiety and have contacted several other
vets but cannot find a single one who is experienced enough to see her..

her behavior hasnt changed..she is eating..and is active...
im just so worried and so beyond upset that i have to wait to see her vet..

no they are both females..

when i made the vet appt. i said possible yeast/bacterial infection
i just dont know..
i've had Kanga & Roo for nearly 4 years and theyve always been healthy
so im really stressing now having to wait till monday to see their vet..

would it be okay to gently clean the area with a warm damp towel?

I would use Vetericyn and look for a vet thats in before hand. Remember yeast (if that is what it is) likes warm dark areas

they dont treat exotics or arent confident enough
