Are honey sticks OK for gliders? I see them advertised a lot, but it seems like a lot of honey in one stick, maybe too much for a little glider? It would be fun to see them eat one, but so far I have resisted.

I certainly give them to my guys but only once in a long while. Honey doesnt age so there is no hurry. I doubt a single glider would suck it dry in one night. But you could always let him have it for a time then pull it out. Odds are he wont even figure out what to do with it. One of the neat interactions of a colony is that there are so many personalities in the group, there is always a "taker" and they begin to compete, so they all learn behaviors from each other and probably get more brave and confident.

You could start with some juicy straws instead.

What did you put inside the straw exactly? (Juice? Hence, juicy straw?)
Thanks! ( I want to try that)
