I stopped on the way to see a client and got two stalks of sugar cane out of a field for my gliders. I just don't know how to prepare it for them. Anyone??

I offer sugar cane as a treat. I cut the stalk at the joint, and that joint in half. You can either serve the half in a plate or hang it in their cage (they get more enjoyment out of this option).

As I said, sugar cane is a treat for my babies, so I only feed it once a week, twice at most. But, to not waste the rest, I cut the entire stalk at each joint, put all the joints in a zip bag, and put the bag in the freezer.
