Wondering what everyone uses for cage bedding. I use the carefresh but it seems to be more messy and smelly than normal. Please let me know what you guys use and whats the best way to clean cage wires and such. thanks so much...

Sometimes we use newspaper and some times we just leave it empty and clean the trays daily... :)

I used to use paper towels in the drop pan, but one of my girls would grab the towels, pull them up and tear them to shreds so now wipe down the drop pan daily with unscented baby wipes.
I use vinegar/water to wipe down their cage

Well, as the others have said, you can leave the tray empty and clean it daily.

In my case, that is not possible because I may receive a call from a client at night (when I am at home) and not have the time, or possibly forget about the tray, so I use bedding. What I use is yesterday news, just a shallow layer on the bottom tray, so they can't reach it.

Most cage beddings are ok, as long as you don't use wood shavings, or scented bedding.
