My vet called to see if I would be able to take in a baby flying squirrel with an injured tail. I am not in the position to be able to do this (no experience with the species, introduce what ever infections things the wild squirrel may have into my home, no spare time, also have a rescued death row dog coming home to us tonight!).
Is there ANYONE who knows ANYONE in the Tampa Bay FL vicinity who might be able to help this little guy. They will euthanize if no one comes forward.
