No haven't decided any names yet, and the gender were not sure about yet. We didn't handle it for very long. It surprised us one minute it was in the moms pouch and the next minute it was in the pouch sleeping. Adorable.

We believe it's at a female we think. Would it be best to re home the baby when's it's ready since we have a un neutered male? What would you guys do? We defiantly don't want no inbreeding. Hope to hear back thanks guys.

You can have your male neutered and keep the baby with mom and dad as a family colony.

If you do not neuter your male very soon it is likely that you will have MORE joeys on the way very soon. You will also have to separate the joeys from the parents about 4 months OOP - and if future joeys are male & female twins, they will need to be separated from the parents and from each other unless the males are neutered.

Its tough with an intact male because essentially you will always end up with more babies, and you will most likely always have to rehome/adopt them out until you neuter him. Males generally fight with other males after puberty. Although there are always rare circumstances where that is not the case, people generally take the precautionary route and separate them, because often times there's no way to know until its too late. With females you've already stated the obvious inbreeding problem, and thus they would always need to be separated/rehomed/adopted out as well. Its an endless cycle of parenting for you if you choose not to neuter him, and if you do then you could always keep your little girl. Best of luck!
