Wow...I'm sorry. Without knowing what kind of spider it was it's really hard to say. I think all spiders have some level of toxins though, given the way they catch, paralyze and then eat their prey. In the wild I'm fairly sure gliders would eat spiders along with any other creepy crawlies they come across.

I'd take her to a vet, but I have no idea what they would suggest or how they would treat.

Anyone have some ideas or experience with this topic? I'd really like to know.

Take a deep breath... now that the spider is eaten

Gliders do eat spiders in their natural habitat, and australia has the most venomous spiders of the planet, the thing is that the venom is dangerous only if injected, not if eaten.
One spider should not harm your glider unless the glider's been bitten (or the spider was poisoned by pesticides).

PS : for the record, we (humans) do eat dozens of spiders each year without knowing it while sleeping.
