I have a question about my sugar gliders diet. At one point I was feeding my gliders HPW,premium sugar glider pellets and of course fresh fruits and vegetables. My question is do my gliders really need all that protein or can I just buy one or the other?

you only need to feed HPW nightly w fruits and veggies. gliders do not need pellets at all to remain happy and healthy. a few now and then for their teeth is fine. my gliders refuse to eat them.

I make a veggie and fruit mix from critterlove.com website.
Ohpw in a separate bowl and then just a few not expensive Happy glider cereal pieces, that I put in fresh every 3 days. (can get moldy if left out to long, the bag is in the frig.)

cereal is not needed but is good for the teeth.
at 2 lbs is about $21, and this will last a long time for a few gliders.
