My sugar glider just gave birth to two babies they both died. Was there something I could have done?

Was she a first time mom? If so, she may just be too young to get it right the first time. Also, there may have been something wrong with the babies.

It would be a good idea to get a joey rejection kit from Suz's Sugar gliders, just to be prepared for next time. She has lots of info on joeys on her site.

To answer your second question, you probably couldnt have done much for joeys that young, when they are a little older (1-2 week OOP) they can be saved (by feeding them and keeping them warm), and it is still really difficult because it requires lots of time (and very few sleep), but it's really rare to be able to save joeys just OOP.
