I have 3 female gliders. 2 are extremely bonded and let me trim their nails with baby nail clippers. The other though is not bonded and will not sit still for me long enough to trim her nails. She ends up cutting my arms up to the point I bleed.
Any other ways to trim their nails down without clippers?

Thanks in advance!

Have you tried filing them?

She pretty much hates me right now. I've only had her a couple months, but I've even tried having my husband hold her in a blanket while I file or trim them but she just doesn't want anything to do with it and will bite and crab and squirm.

You can try buying the wheel inserts that have sandpaper so when they run on the wheel it files their nails down, but I never personally liked that idea because they can jump right over it.
I'm not sure what you've tried, but the way I like to do it is by leaving them in their bonding pouch, asleep, and grabbing one paw out of the pouch at a time. They will be fussy about it if you pull their paw too hard or too far away from them, of course, but it's just about patience and learning how your glider likes it.
You can also try to cut a tiny little hole in a piece of fabric, big enough that you can pull a tiny paw through once they fall asleep in the fabric.
Some food-motivated gliders will actually let you trim if you give them their favorite treats -- meal worms.
I really don't think filing them down is a good idea. The reason we don't do that to other animals like dogs or cats is because files create heat and that can hurt them a lot. It would also take longer, which gliders aren't usually happy about.

I put glider in small pouch with small hole. I feed plenty of live mealworms and try to get them to stay relaxed while I hold bag, pull out a leg and the wife cuts nail tips. We have one glider that makes this difficult but I can hold her in the bag without getting bit.
