So I have two sugar gliders that just had to babies just the other week they came out of pouch about an hour ago Jaba the dad had taken one of the babies and ate it and he was acting crazy. I know this is normal and that it happens, but it really freaked me out and has me worried about the other sugar glider. I have the mom and baby separated from he dad right now and i don't know what to do. Do I keep them separated or put them all back together I don't want him to eat the other baby if I were to put them back together.
My instinct would be to keep them separated but I'm no expert and there are many people here who are more experienced with this. I just wanted to tell you how sorry I am. Must've been traumatic to go through this.
I aso don't breed and can't tell you what do to, but I do know that the dad helps raise them and helps give the mom space to do her thing away from the babies, so many times I've heard it's not good to separate them
