No, netting is not safe. Fleece and hard plastic are safe toy materials. Dollar Tree has many plastic toy items like bracelets, baskets, plastic eggs, ping pong balls, barrel of monkeys, army men, silk ivy vines (no wire).

Goodwill often has Fischer Price toddler toys like tree houses or farm houses for a couple of dollars.

I go to the dollar store and do my own toys plus wait for yard sales for kids toys. I get all kind of 10 to 25 cents toys.
