Their behaviors do seem to change with the seasons, but I don't think it's from allergies, although I'm sure they can have allergies. It sounds more like he's just getting used to the different seasons. The amount of light changes, which changes their sleeping patterns and sometimes that can irritate them more. My boy was less sociable for about a month when winter came. He's been awake more since summer began.
Unless your glider stops eating or drinking or starts fighting with others or appears actually sick, such as the fur cracking, he's probably okay. If you think he needs a vet check-up, go for it! Never wrong to check.
