We have had two sugar gliders, Hope and Angel for a few months now. They were 10-12 weeks old when we got them. Hope is getting whiter in the area male sugar gliders are "bald." She isn't losing fur or anything but it is clearly paler in colour. We are worried that she might be sick. Her sister Angel is a Mosaic and Hope has a whiter tail than normal sugar gliders with a white tip and white where her legs meet her feet.

sounds like Hope is a min mo, a minimal marked mosaic ( the white feet are markers on mo's also if she has even ONE white whisker on her face )

Mos's can lighten as they get older it's called powdering out, they are the only color variation that does this I think.
