Is my sugar glider trying to groom me, or is she just trying to drive me nuts. Our night time routine has turned into mass exodus from the cage, and one who doesn't run around the room. she sits on my head and tries to lick and scratch through my hair no matter how much I shoo her away. It seems the more I shoo, the more she wants to do it.

I think hair is a favorite thing for gliders to chew I keep mine up

But if you've changed shampoo (got a new smell in your hair)
It might make be making it worse?
It could be a show of affection or grooming, but you wouldn't want her to eat your hair
and if it hurts you you should stop her
she won't hate you if she can't get at your hair
Maybe a hat?
Other toys (scraps of paper) things safe to play with to get her attention

I to have noticed if you don't want them to do something that's what they want to do lol
so i drag/ dangle things around like for a cat super cute
But it seems to help with biting when I give something else to bite
