How much egg shell calcium should I be giving per glider? Also are toys with feathers safe to keep in the cage?

Toys with feathers can be dangerous. It’s similar to loose strings in the bed, the can get “stuck”, freak out, and get it knotted around their toes. Sadly one of our girls lost her entire leg within a few days due to a loose string... feathers can do the same thing. As for the egg shell diet I’ve never heard of that. We do feed boiled eggs once to twice a week. Along with the toys we go for bird toys made of wood. It helps dull their nails along with fleece ropes and beds. Nothing sewed together since they can easily take apart the stitching and get stuck.
