As I remember it, joeys should stay with mom and dad for 8 weeks oop. before this they don't get proper raising from mom and dad.

I hope someone can verify this.

That sounds about right, however, 10 weeks is better, 8 I believe is the minimum. I think 10-12 weeks is good, depending on Joey.
