I bought little toys I thought were going to be solid plastic. when I received them they are a gummy rubber material. will the gliders try to eat it? do you think it is toxic to them?

I would start using them with supervised play, and see how they do. If your gliders are chewers, it may be more of a concern, however I know people that have used rubbery (plastic) toys in play/toy bins. I've used the spikey balls as well at times, though not for some time now.
