Hey everyone I'm new. I've had my sugar glider Josephine for about 3 years now. At the time I got her, I had bad information, and now that I know better I'm trying to make positive changes in her life.

The first is diet- I just recently changed her diet from pellet food to HPW Original. However, she isn't eating much since the switch. He hardly touches her nectar replacement at night, and since I've started giving her a greater variety of fruits and veggies, she's been eating less of those too.

Did I make the nectar replacement wrong? Is she just being picky? Is there something else going on?

Any help you could give me would be great. Thanks.

I've been using HPW original, which includes 1/4 cup Wambaroo Powder, 2 cups warm water, 1 1/2 cup honey, and 3 scrambled eggs.

I give her 1 1/2 Tablespoon of the OHPW mixture, 1 Tablespoon of Fruit, and 1 Tablespoon of Vegetables. For vegetables, I give her a slice of Cucumber or lettuce or carrot. For fruits, I give her apple, strawberry, or pear.

Portion wise sounds about right maybe cut the staple back to 1 tablespoon. 1 n 1/2 might be to much for her.

if it's the critter love original hpw, the fruits and vegs should be one of the salads on the critter love site. https://www.critterlove.com/salad-mixtures

In my experience, gliders don't particularly like strawberries or pears anything with small seeds or a grainy texture (pears) mine won't touch the following

raspberries red especially (sometimes they will nibble on black ones) , kiwi, strawberries, banana, pear, dragon fruit, sometimes not even blueberries which also have tiny seeds, mine aren't even a fan of apples but a lot of gliders are.

mine only get lettuce once in a great while it doesn't have much as far as nutritional value but they do love it as a treat I actually make a salad use my staple as a dressing n fruit n veg to top it off lol like I said its only once in a while.

carrot apple n cucumber are fine. But the critter salads will give more variety with fruits and veg that work the best with the hpw diet. The staple and fruits n veg work hand in hand nutritionally to make the diet balanced.

leela gave you great information.
I would add the honey called for in OHPW is raw honey which is very healthy for your glider, processed (pasteurized honey is basically sugar.) you didn't list the bee pollen in OHPW and how you made it, online video is what I use, so you probably did it right.
all 11 of our gliders seem to love OHPW original.
I would add more veggies, peas, green beans, or use the critterlove salad mixes as stated by leela.
at 3 years old, I would keep some pellets in cage atleast some nights, and always give them OHPW 1/2 tablespoon per glider. for our single glider I would give almost 1 tablespoon and he wouldnt eat it all many nights.
our gliders took a long time to switch to fruits and veggies, sometime months before they started eating lots of them.
