Earlier today my friend and I checked out Best in Pets in Elyria Ohio. They had sugar gliders. I was unable to tell how many, at least 2 but possibly more. They were keeping them in a small bird cage, probably 16” high by 24” long I’d guess. Their only toy was a piece of rope that looked like a twig with various hoarse strings protruding and large holes throughout. They were feeding them what I believe to be hampster food. Their nails were long and growing unchecked. They did have 3 pouches in the cage which was about the only good thing. Does anyone know who I can report this to to help these animals. Or is anyone near me who can help them. I couldn’t afford to bring them home, but they can’t be left in these conditions.
