I am getting ready to rent a new place and plan on making the 3rd bedroom a glider room.

In my mind, I envision a place (glider proof) where I can close the door and let them glide or explore till they go to sleep.
I may put in this room a office table

Since I am renting, I want to avoid nail in the walls if possible. I do not plan on having any hiding places except a few pillows on the floor (one of my gliders like to sleep in them)

What should I put down to avoid them urinating on the wood floors? I have seen on pinterest some owners using this:

I have thought about putting an astroturf but don't know if it is safe.

I have also seen owners using artificial plants:

[b]I want to have something that they are forced to glide to but am not sure of how to do this. I like this and think it would be easy/inexpensive to make.

I think I should have enough toys/ropes.

I have to watch my $$$ as due to family issues.

Looking for advice/suggestions/pics.

Thanks.

I covered up window and closet with plastic chicken wire from hardware store.
I put plastic baby proof plugs in the power outlets.
I used PVC pipes to run cable and power wire into closed up closet so gliders can't
chew wires.
I get gliders out on my days off at night for about 2 hours, at that time most are back in the pouch
taking a nap.
the wall divides out 2 colonies but we are thinking about reducing to one colony and removing the
wall.

I left in the carpet for now, I vacuum it about every 2-3 nights out of cage, and we have a very good carpet
cleaner I can use if the carpet gets bad. I have no idea how to do it another way and make it work.
If the floor was wood, I would try to cover it, but that would probably be expensive.

also I would go with the PVC play area and wrap it with fleece and NOT the fake plants as they
can chew the plants.
I would make a fleece rope and hang it from a shelf in the wall. this way they can climb up the
fleece to the shelf and jump off if they want to.
