Sugar glider acting out unusually aggressive towards me.

I have had my 3 female gliders for over 2 years now and have been bonding with them frequently. Though today when I tried to get them out of their bonding bag they started acting unusually aggressive and attacking me.. this is unusual behaviour for them, I had taken them out previously today to play with them and they acted fine. What could this be?
