Hi! I am new here! I have had my boy Lucas for about a month now. I think the bonding process is going swell! He only crabs at now when I first pick up his pouch and when my mother is sticking her face directly in his pouch to say hello. At first she hated him and now she won't give him back when I let her hold him! He doesn't come out of his pouch willingly most of the time but randomly he likes to crawl out into my shirt or make a beeline into the couch crack. He just loves to poop and pee all over me!
He is about four and half months old. I am not planning to ever breed him due to his unknown lineage (he's not registered) and I know I don't have the time to commit to helping with joeys and rehoming. I also plan to get him a friend and I feel like having him neutered would be the best route to make this possible with my options.
What I am wondering is should I wait until we're more bonded to neuter him?
