So my current cage has started smelling pretty bad lately. I’m getting a new cage this week, because she keeps escaping through the bar gaps. But the bars on the cage smell pretty bad and I can’t figure out why. The cat did very awkward and I’m not capable to reaching the bottom or middle very well. So I just clean the outside and maybe clean the inside on all the parts I can reach. Is there an easier way to clean?

What kind of cage do you have? Most cages I'm familiar with have pullout bottom trays which should let you clean them thoroughly. A lot of people swear by steam cleaners which let them hit all areas of the cage with steam to remove any food particles.
