My male glider makes this sound while alone in his pouch at night sometimes. He is neutered. When I go check on him he is totally fine and usually annoyed at me for shining a light in his eyes lol anyone know what he’s doing in there?

sounds as if he is cleaning himself. They spit in their hands and then wash themselves,

So much louder than usual if it is just grooming!

sounds normal to me, with 6 gliders in pouch I here lots of noises at times.

Do you have a night light for him? My sugar glider will bark or make this sound when the lights are all off she likes to have a night light on. Otherwise I would say he maybe lonely, does he have a cage mate? Some one to play with at night. Or it could be that he's in a rut if he's not fixed and he wants "female company" lol whatever the case he's trying to get your attention. It's not grooming sounds because those are much quieter hiss/sneeze/cough sounds.
