ive had my suggie for 11 days exactly, hes 3 months old.
Today i woke up finding him dead! I was crushed and surprised, i dont know what went wrong, we seemed to be bonding quite well and he didnt show any signs of depression, the room was the right temperature, i had given him food and water in case he got hungry or thirsty while i was asleep, what could possibly be the reason? I’m heartbroken

Sorry I can’t offer any insight about what happened to yours, but I had a similar incident. My two gliders mated and we were so excited when the baby survived (we were told that it can be difficult for babies to survive sometimes. Not sure why). Once it left mom’s pouch, it seemed to be doing really well. I came home one day and found her dead. She was only about a month old. We have no idea why it happened.

I’m sorry for your loss. Did you only have one sugar glider? Sugar gliders usually need to be at least in a pair.
