Hey guys, I wanted to as a question about cleaning wood accessories. Most of my accessories in my gliders' cage is wood, and it's mostly wooden bridges and branches. Is there a good way to effectively clean the wood? I've tried soaking it in hot water along with some Kage Kleen and wiped with a dry towel, but I'm not sure if that's the most efficient and cleanest way. Thanks!

theres an f10 veterinary disinfectant which i believe is good, and should get rid of odor. You could also use eucalyptics essential oil, but i wouldnt reccommend it because ive heard of people suddenly using it causing bad problems. wood is tricky to clean, i personally dont use wood for my gliders but i hope this helps

Wood absorbs urine so is very difficult to clean.
the ONLY wood piece I have was coated with something from the maker
to keep the urine from being absorbed. I stay away from wood.

I always scrub mine with soap and water and never really have a problem with it. Mine don’t really seem to hold an odor, but maybe I’ve just gotten lucky.
