Hi guys,
One if my male sugar glider’s scent gland on his chest is red and has a little blood on it. He is 1 1/2 years old and I’ve had him since he was 8 weeks. This has never happened before, but I recently moved their cage upstairs and have been cleaning it more often than usual since we have an open floor plan. He is eating, drinking, letting me pet him, and acting the same. However, I am still worried. I plan on getting him neutered soon as well, but do you all think he is maybe over marking the cage?
I am also wondering if maybe the bad weather (loud thunder and lightning) has caused him distress the last night??
Thank you!!
