I feel so dumb right now. In April I got twin male suggies. They've been healthy active etc. After ordering a cage that had wrong measurements online I just made one. I used plywood and 2 by 4's. I didn't think anything of it. I started reading that plywood is dangerous?!?! They have had no issues and have just been becoming more full of spunk and personality. All the wood was thoroughly cleaned pre use. I just don't know if I should move them now or if they'll be okay.

I don't know if it's dangerous but I do know that their urine will soak into it and no matter how much you clean it will smell quite a bit.

Yeah I am just building a new one and looking into a suggie safe waterproof for it. It oddly enough hasnt been stinky yet but Id rather not take risks.

I hear many folks use PVC to make very nice cages. You could probably Google it.
