I have only had my sugar gliders a month now. Their nails are getting really long and are needing a trim. How do I best introduce clipping them and still allowing them to trust me as we just bonded I don't want them to get angry with me or not trust me.

I'm unsure how the previous owner did their nails or if they even did.

Clipping their nails is new to me, I have never clipped a sugar gliders nails before and scared to hurt them. I think this is probably more scary for me than it is them.

Any ideas are much appreciated.

we use the 2 person method. its on video on youtube, how to cut a crabby glider
nails. One person holds glider tight holds out nails, second person cuts.
AND we have never had a glider hate us for cutting their nail, some of them dont like it but afterwards when they are not hurt they run back to pouch but it has NEVER seems to cause long term negative problems, in fact it almost seems like that fact they get away unhurt makes it ok with them.
