I took my boys to have their initial vet visit yesterday, I have had them since October 22nd. I'm to scared to trim nails just yet still learning, so I asked the vet who is about to do their neuter February 8th to trim them. Brought both my boys home and neither one can climb on me or anything else they fall right to the ground. I called the vets office first thing this morning I was told this was normal not to worry. I'm freaking out they are going to seriously injure themselves, I cannot let them out of the cage and this is a nightly routine they look forward to playing in their room. Is this normal? The nails themselves are extremely short I'm not an expert but this can't be normal. I figured there would be some getting use to the nail TRIM but this just doesn't seem right.
