My female sugar glider used to be able to climb up my bare arms no problem, kinda hurt a little and tickled a lot too when she did because she'd really dig her nails in. However recently i've started to notice she can't climb up me nearly as well, she can't grip onto my arm at all and often falls when trying to climb up me. She still has a lot of energy and seems perfectly healthy.
She is 12 years old, so I suppose she might just be getting old. But was wondering if there is anything else it could be?
Have you trimmed their nails recently? I find that after I trim my gliders nails (esp if they're shorter than normal) they have a harder time climbing up my bare arm.
