Helpy sons glider woke up with a swollen eye. He is still very active, eating and there doesn't seem to be pus filled. Not quite sure how to post pictures. Our closest glider vet is over an hour away and not open on weekends. Any suggestions?

Make an appointment with your vet as soon as possible. If there is an emergency vet that you can get to sooner, that would be best. In the meantime, watch him very closely and make sure that he's still eating and drinking. don't let him get dehydrated.
Do you have any idea what caused the swollen eye? Is tehre anything sharp in the cage? Do the gliders' have their nails trimmed regularily?
