Hello Sugar Glider World! So I have two sugar gliders and one of them bit the other one and now she has an open wound. I'm worried it will get infected but I've been cleaning it out with a Saline Solution and some Neosporin. I think I'm on the right track but the cut is deep and not sure if she needs stitches or will it will heal on its own if I keep taking care of it and keep them separated. Not sure if anyone can help, but any reassurance would be greatly appreciated! not many vets willing to help with my situation.

If you can't get her to a vet, just keep cleaning it and keep a very close eye on her. Make sure she is drinking and doesn't get dehydrated. Keep her separated from the other until the wound is closed.

Would you have any suggestions on getting her to stop grooming the wound? We put Neosporin on it and she keeps grooming it

Do you have a e-cone or an e-jacket? If you put that on, she won't be able to groom the wound/get the Neosporin off.
