Hey guys.. im just wondering. Since ive been having thr issue of my gliders playing rough with eachother Ive been paying attention to the female to see if she has any wounds. Especially since they mated no long ago.

I noticed that she had a red spot on her stomach. I thought it was a bite but its not bleeding or anything.
Is it her second genitalia? Its kinda like where our belly button is...

Is she preparing to give birth? Or is it just normal? I cant really tell and its kinda hard to take a pic she wont let me turn her over lol

How would I know when she is getting ready to give birth? They mated about a week and a half to two weeks ago.

It may actually be a new born joey making its way to her pouch. They are not much bigger than a grain of rice when born and the joey must make its way to mom's pouch. Mom will lick a train from the cloaca to the pouch to help the joey make it safely to the pouch.

She was not licking or anything. She was acting normal.

Could it be her pouch is a little red and that's what you are seeing?

I have never dealt with this before but could it be a pouch infection?

Do you have a picture or something we can use as a reference? Hard to imagine what you are seeing..

Its really hard to get a picture but I will try. Its not as red as I first saw it. Now its just pinkish. Like a belly button type thing. It could be her pouch.
Maybe what I saw was the baby just making it to the pouch and it dissappeared because he made it in by the time I had the chance to take a closer look?
