I've been seeing a lot of posts about wodent wheels lately, so I wanted to make a topic with this headline so that people can see it. Wodent wheels are dangerous for sugar gliders! They can cause injury in many forms, especially tails and feet and heads, and they can even be fatal. They are especially dangerous with multiple gliders in the cage. The stealth wheel and raptor wheel are two glider safe wheels that can be ordered with trim trax for their nails. Be careful when choosing a wheel, guys!

With most wheels that have nail files wouldn't you take it off? Because this wheel stays on doesn't it - the file and wheel are one in the same. At least that's what I gather. Does the nail become to short? This is just a question not blaming the product.. Kinda confused ..Searching for a wheel as well

Yes you take the sand paper out for it also gets pretty dirty and needs to be replaced. The h wheel if you look at the pictures on the link I put it shows a solid track (outside) and a black pvc coated track (inside) you put wet/dry sandpaper in between Those two tracks. With that wheel you can also choose if you want the solid and pvc track or one or the other (at least that's what I've gathered on it).
