Hello everybody!

I'M FINALLY DOING CANDY'S GLIDERKIDS STAPLE TONIGHT!

I'm so excited!

Share some of your glider's favorite side dishes and combos! Mine are bored I have officially become the most un-creative suggie chef with the limited amount of meals I know how to prepare for them that they find yummy along with their staple

Our girls favorite is persimmon or watermelon and green beans. They are also big fans of cantalope if its nice and ripe and sweet.
I know this isn't cooking for them, but the only thing they really like heated up are frozen things like broccoli (which they love) or peas

Chicken Apple Crunch Ball

Ingredients:

1 small diced apple

1 lb ground chicken or turkey (raw)

1/3 cup applesauce

1 1/2 cups cheerios (can substitute Oatmeal)

1 egg

Directions:

Preheat oven to 300*

Shred Chicken in a food processor.

Combine all ingredients in a medium size-mixing bowl.

Using your hands forms into spoon-sized balls and drop onto a lightly greased cookie sheet.

Cook for 20 minutes.

One ball is enough for one to two gliders. Serve no more than 1-2 times per week.

Makes about 2 dozen balls. This is one of my gliders absolute favorites!

Take a vegetable peeler and do long strips of a cucumber, or steamed carrot or sweet potato, then roll the strips up and squirt some yogurt or honey in the middle
