I rescued 2 males about 3 months ago, one is about 15 months and the other is about 6 to seven months. In the time I have had them I have spent lots of time with them, have used bonding pouches and even tents but they still have shown no sign of interest in me. They get scared and skittish when I come around the cage and overall do not seam to like me. The older one also barks/crabs a lot, while the litle one simply doesn't come out or near me. They are both well fed and healthy, cage cleaning is regular, and they have plenty of toys and space. Any advice? I love them and would love for them to interact more with me and my family. I feel bad for them because no matter what I do they just don't seem to be happy.

The bonding process between me and my glider really kicked up when I started doing "bathroom time". I go in one of my houses smaller bathrooms ( a larger one works fine as well), take a wheel with me, a large piece of fleece to shove under the door, and a small nightlight. I turn off the lights and let my glider freely hop on and off of me freely whenever she feels the need to. Now, she happily will jump on and off of me freely because she has gotten comfortable with my presence and learned that I'm her safe spot and whenever she is scared, she jumps to me.

Oh also, don't forget to bring treats in with you!

Good luck hope this helped
