Hi!
I’m new to this forum, so forgive me if I format this wrong!

A few months back my family and I got a new pair of glider girls. We got them at a young age, and brought them back home to live in my room. I moved to my university not too long ago and had planned to bring the girls with me, but my father refused to let me take them until the first semester as finished. I tried to fight for them but unfortunately I had to leave them behind.

My concern is that the girls will not be able to bond with me at all as I am not there with them anymore, and they hadn’t come close to bonding with me while I was still living at home. I’m worried that they’re going to bond with my father, and once the end of the first semester rolls around and I move them in with me at university, I’ll be taking them away from the person they bonded with into an unfamiliar place with a person they don’t trust.

Will this be harmful for them? Will they get depressed or sick because of this?

Once our gliders are friendly, they are friendly with everyone, with a small
exception. I think you will have no problems, if you glider gets friendly and trusting of your dad, he should be that way with you.

My wife's glider Gizmo is bonded to her, but also very friendly with me. The one weird exception is this one time Gizmo was sitting on my wife's shoulder, our 13 year old put his finger up to him and he started to jump it like it was live mealworm. (that motion they have when they really want that treat and jump on it.)
every time our 13 yr old put his finger in front of him he would try to grab it with his front hands, if looked like he was going to grab his finger and bite it.
Was very strange, and NONE of the other gliders act that way, I think it was a
fluke thing. one of these days I will have to have him try it again.
