So A while back my family got a sugar glider for Pocket Pets (which I now know is a very bad company) and they failed to inform us that he had an ongoing bladder problem. So even after antibiotics and veterinary care, he passed away.
A little while and a lot of research later we decided to get another sugar glider (from a breeder) and I set everything up with her to get another boy sugar glider who is currently being fed HPW. Then, to my surprise, about a week ago my sister called PP to give them a piece of her mind and they said they would give us a sugar glider for free.
Although I did not want to be associated with them I thought we might as well give one a better home. So on Monday we went a picked up a little boy who we've named sunny ( also we're still getting the other little guy from the breeder)
Sunny is a scared little baby but he's slowly getting used to us. The only problem is the diet.. I've been trying to convert him to HPW but last night when we tried to give it to him, he didn't even touch it!
I don't really know what to do. I'm scared to try to give it to him tonight because he's already not the greatest eater.. I want him to get the right nutrients and things. Oh also we took him to the vet yesterday morning for a wellness check and he's healthy!

If PPP gave you Glider Gravy, that is HPW Complete. Does he eat that?

Pocket Pets feeds Glider Gravy(which is the same as HPW Complete) along side pellets. I would mix up the Glider Gravy and offer that along with the HPW you made(i"m assuming its the original recipe? with bee pollen, eggs, etc?) Gradually decrease the amount of the old diet and increase the new.

Also, make sure to offer him a variety of fruits and veggies to eat as well.

Moving to a new home and being separated from his parents is VERY stressful - often they don't want to eat for a bit so offer him the Glider Gravy which should be familiar and slowly transition him over.
