Can you use vita sugar glider diet as 25% of the diet? Or should it be not used at all? I would like to use these as a snack or even mix them with other foods

first ingredients:
quote: Feeding Oat Meal, Pork Meal, Poultry Meal, Cereal Food Fines, Wheat Middlings, Wheat Flour, Dehydrated Alfalfa Meal, Porcine Blood Meal, Full Fat Flax Meal, Fish Meal, Brewer's Dried Yeast,
There is not much high quality protein listed here and the primary ingredient is oatmeal.
You might leave some in the cage for snacking if your glider gets up during the daytime (most gliders don't) but I would not use this product to meet a glider's protein, vitamin or calcium needs.
You can look at the glider feeding plans used my most people here and choose one to make for your gliders that will ensure good nutrition. I have links to these diets on my web page to help you decide which one you prefer. All will give your glider the nutrients for a long healthy life.

I'm not a fan of pelleted diets, unless it's a snack during the daytime - as Candy said.
Try researching some of the recognized diets here and see what works for you. http://www.sugarglider.com/gliderpedia/index.asp?Diet
I do a rotation of instant HPW, HPW complete, ensure diet, and some nights just a balanced diet with fruits veggies and a protein source. This has worked out beautifully. My babies love it and their coats look wonderful! They also they have a clean bill of health from my vet.
Many people have success storied from the other diets. Just find what works for you. Most will agree though that pellets will not give a balanced diet, esp on it's own.

I usually use pellets (because they love them) for treats. Usually in the early morning, not every day, I place about 10 total (for 2 gliders) around in some of their toys & hiding places for them to run around to find. They usually see me coming with them and get pretty excited. I do this usually in the early am but on occasion have place late a night because I want them to eat their main diet or most of it. In the early am they are usually looking around for something to eat, so it gives them something to find, if they miss any, not a big deal, it won't spoil before they find it later or the next day.
