Suggestion if you don't want to buy whole eggplant

I went to the grocery and saw they have something called an indian eggplant. This is much smaller than a standard eggplant and my gliders seemed to like it. Just a little help if you don't want to buy an entire eggplant that will rot soon after cutting it.

Eggplant doesn't rot in my house! I have to make myself share it with the gliders - IF I do!
