So, I decided one of my toys needed a makeover. Went from this...
to this...
to THIS...
Reasons for the makeover?
1) The links holding the plastic mugs up held them at an ANGLE, which I did not like. It made it rather awkward for foraging. So I drilled through the bottom of the mugs and I like it this way much more! (I like the angled mug on some toys, but the links were also at an odd angle and kept popping out. BUT this was one of the first toys I made, so as with everything, the more you do it, the better you get at it.)
2) I acquired some new pink beads that I thought made the toy a lot more attractive and wanted to incorporate these. :)
3) The plastic bowl/swing portion of the toy always felt rather lacking to me, so I added silk flowers. I like giving the kids some new texture for them to explore. And let's face it: it's really pretty!
