I would like to recognize and give a very big public thank you to the following persons that chipped in funds for Bubble’s leg amputation. They are in alphabetical order:

Bridget: You went above and beyond by starting the “chip in” and putting up with all our questions and other members questions on how, where, and are we sure all funds will go to her care. I really didn’t mind the comments because of what scammers have done to good members in the community in the past. We had never done this before and the vet hadn’t ever collected funds this way. I appreciate everyone’s patience. It was a learning experience as we went along. We were as open as we could be with info that we had and were open with details as they were explained to us and totals given then we posted them. Thanks for everybody being patient as the details were figured out at the same time questions and concerns were voiced. We tried to answer questions as they were asked or went and called to find the answers.
We said all funds collected would go toward Bubbles surgery and everything collected so far did go to them.
We collected 140 dollars.
The bill was 210 dollars and has been paid, we chipped in to, and were making phone calls as donations were coming in.(on our end). We were making phone calls to non sugar glider friends and a pawn shop to pay part of medical bill. The vet looked at Bubbles and quoted 85 for anesthesia and 75 for the surgery and meds would bring total up to about 200, the vet tech wanted us to have 200 before surgery would get done. When we picked Bubbles up the surgery was 125 and gas was 85 thus the 210 dollar total. NO explanation or anything for the increase.
We do/did have a check coming in the mail from a member mentioned above(it now has arrived yesterday) . Nancy asked for our addy and we pm’ed her on face book. The night before when we could see the total that was close enough to where we could pay the rest of balance. We contacted Nancy and difficulty mentioned that Bubbles was going in Wed., so politely said she could keep check and thanked her for the offer(hard to write and explain with emotion). She said she wanted and was gonna send it because we may need meds or need it later. A big thank you Nancy that you have the trust and confidence that the funds will be used toward Bubbles.
It was mentioned why take her in. When I looked at her and her eyes looked as if she was asking “will you help me”, my heart hurt looking at her foot and I had to try. We were also on the phone at the location were we drove to and was trying to get vets to work with us to no avail. Over the weekend there was maybe some possibilities that might help. I don’t usually go around collecting and trying to “save them all“,- sugar gliders but in this instance WE were called upon to help and could not say NO. In turn some very nice people also helped.
I think at one time or another every animal lover has been called to help or has helped a critter in need sometime during their lifetime. Whether it was physical care, product donations, time or transport, talking to someone or monetary. We all do a little to help where we can to help make sugar glider lives better everywhere.

Art it is great to have support from the community. Kylah and Peggy are always stepping up to help when people need it. I am also encouraged by the kindness of the others you mentioned. We will pray for Bubbles' quick recovery!

Thus being why I love this community! Don't know Peggy but I'm sure she's great. What I do know of Kylah, she rocks. The others I'm sorry I don't have the pleasure of knowing.

I feel terribly sad this baby had to wait a a few days to get this surgery. (got this from facebook) Thank you everyone that helped. What a godsend. I hope this baby heals ok

You guys are too kind! No thanks necessary! I'm just glad she got her much needed surgery. Sometimes certain situations "speak" to you and compels one to help out. How is Miss Bubbles doing anyway?

I too would like to thank everyone for the help and welcome words of kindness so far miss Tiny Bubbles is doing good here is a video of her on the bed for some supervised play time.

I think it might have to be a YouTube video in order for it to play in the post. At least, that's what I always use and it seems to work ok.

Use the actual "reply" button instead of just typing in this box and hitting "submit reply". It will give you more options. You'll see an icon for a video camera. You can use that and copy and paste the YouTube link there. You could always also just copy and paste the link directly onto here and someone can fix it for you too.
